The establishment of electronic security measures is growing in pace with electronic developments. The systems cover many measures, often combined and interlinked, depending on the purpose. The individual products can be installed to be more or less visible and may be used for the purpose of detection, documentation and/or alarming. When selecting and installing electronic security measures, it is essential to consider IT security and sabotage protection. It is also important to carefully considering the power supply, e.g. whether battery-powered and wireless equipment should be hard-wired and whether an emergency power system is needed. Operation and maintenance, as well as data collection and legislation, should always be considered when protecting with electronic measures.
