Cell protection

Building cells are often smaller rooms in a building that are secured separately from the rest. This type of rooms will often have a higher level of security than the rest of the building. If possible, the cell should be located centrally/deep inside the building so that it is surrounded by several outer layers of security that can mitigate the threat before it reaches the cell.
Depending on the usage pattern of the cell, the room may be permanently locked or freely accessible and only locked in case of an incident. In some cases, the cell can also be used as a safe room, where people can seek refuge in case of an attack.
